Today, we are bursting with pride to celebrate a dear friend, partner, and pillar of our neighborhood: Pastor Earl Grandberry Sr.—affectionately known to all of us as Pastor G.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Pastor G was formally honored at the 3rd Annual Mayoral Faith Summit, hosted by Mayor Brandon Johnson. Held at Kennedy-King College in the heart of Englewood, it was a powerful gathering of Chicago’s most dedicated faith leaders, visionaries, and changemakers.

This year’s summit, titled "Funding Your Mission: Unlocking Financial Access," was a high-impact gathering designed to bridge the gap between faith-based nonprofits and the resources they need to thrive. The event focused on:

• Strategic Growth: Connecting organizations with city, state, and county resources.
• Direct Support: One-on-one consulting and strategy sessions with industry experts.
• Sustainable Impact: Networking with funders to ensure community work is backed by solid financial foundations.
